Samantha Watkins McRae is an interior designer based in Belsize Park, London, known for creating refined, highly personal homes that balance beauty with the realities of modern family life.

With over a decade of running her own studio, Samantha works closely with busy, design-aware clients to deliver considered interiors that feel both effortless and deeply functional. Her approach is collaborative and solutions-led, guiding each project with clarity and calm while allowing clients to remain as involved – or hands-off – as their lives demand.

Drawing on an early career in fashion, Samantha brings a confident use of colour, texture and materiality to every scheme, creating layered, bespoke interiors that evolve naturally around her clients. The result is a sense of understated, lived-in luxury – homes that are not only visually compelling, but genuinely enjoyable to live in.

A graduate of KLC School of Design, Samantha founded her studio in 2012 and continues to build long-standing relationships with clients who value trust, discretion and a thoughtful, well-managed design process.
